Golf Ball Grain

Even with all that grain, the black nail polish still comes through

If you like grain the size of golf balls, this combo might be for you. This is Kodak's T-Max P3200 metered at 1250 and developed at home in Adox Rodinal (1+50 dilution). I used the Massive Dev Chart which prescribed a 16 minute development. I scanned the film and added a good amount of contrast in Lightroom.

This combo isn't for me. My results were too flat and dull, and it took too much work in Lightroom to improve the tones. I enjoy film grain as much as the next guy, but the Rodinal just demolished it. If I need the speed, next time I'll just push Tri-X.
