Golden Light

I've written previously about my family's Thanksgiving tradition, a trip to Sea Ranch on the Sonoma Coast. You can read it here.

We've just arrived back home from this year's trip, unpacked, and I uploaded the files from the Fujifilm X100V into Lightroom. For those of you who might care, these photos are straight from the camera, shot in jpeg with the Kodachrome recipe from FujiXWeekly. I'll process the Tri-X from the Leica soon.

The weather was unusually dry this year, with not a single drop of rain. This made the mornings chilly, with frost on the grass and frozen hands in my pockets. But the light... oh, the light. Can't wait for next year.
